Long time no talk

It's been a month since I last blogged! I'm sorry. The reason is mainly because I've been sick a LOT in the past month and so I was in bed a lot. I have never been sick this long before. I've been laid up this long because of injuries but not because of sickness! It's been crazy. I don't know what's been going on; whether it's a spiritual attack or that I've been so busy my immune system's been down or what. But I think I'm finally beginning to get better. Thank God.
So, I figured it was time to update. School has been going well, besides the fact that I've missed a lot of it this past month. It's started getting really cold this past week which has made me SO happy! I love the cold weather! I'm really looking forward to it snowing, and I'm pretty sure we're going to have an early snow. I'm expecting it and praying for it! :)
Things are going well with my living situation. I love being with my sister and my other roommate is awesome too. And I really love my landlords. I feel so blessed to have the landlords that we do, and it makes me know even more so that this is where the Lord wanted us. This brings me to a testimony:
This month has been a bit hard financially; but the Lord is so good and gives me amazing testimonies through it. When my rent came due I didn't have it. I only had $50. Ugh... this is the first time that I haven't had my rent on the first of the month- and there were several other bills coming up due that I needed money for, but rent matters the most! I need a place to live, you know? Besides, I really like my landlords and they're trusting the Lord with us for rent and trusting us to have it every month. I was praying, asking people to pray, asking people for help etc. I had until the 4th to get the money to her, so I said, "Okay, Lord, you know what I need and You're my Provider. And You've done it thus far."
On the 3rd someone gave me $20, so then that made $70. Yay! But still quite a bit to go. On the 4th, my mother texted me and said she and dad decided to give me $50 because they felt the Lord prompting them to. I'm so thankful for them. This was a surprise though because my mom just had surgery and a lot of money had to be paid up front for it; so I didn't think they would be able to. So, at 2 in the afternoon I had $120 towards my rent.  I decided that if I didn't have it all by the time class was over I would take what I had to my landlord and explain. Then, within the hour, my mom sent me another text telling me that I had gotten a check for $130 (the EXACT amount I needed) from a friend and she would put it in my account right away. Amen and Hallelujah!
It was so exciting to be able to bring my landlords the check and also share the testimony with them so that they could rejoice with me in it. And they did! They rejoiced and also said that they would've understood and if I hadn't have had the whole thing when it was needed. They are so kind and loving; they love Jesus, love seeing us grow in the Lord and are so supportive of us walking in faith. How awesome it is to have landlords like that?!
Then since then I've been able to pay my other bills from money coming in here and there. Praise His Holy Name!!
Prayer Request: My sister and I are hoping to go to Michigan to visit my grandmother for Thanksgiving. She has dementia and it is possibly the last time we'll be able to see her. Please pray for finances for us. We are praying for enough to go as well as all the money to pay bills when we get back.

Thank you!
Happy Early Thanksgiving!

We have check in at the prayer room every time we're there. We meet in a side room and pray together before our prayer room time. Here is my check in team... we decided to 'check in' in a unique fun way. lol.
